Günther Thöny and Indelux collaborated on the redesign of the Marèe Restaurant with the aim of preserving Sonnenhof's cultural heritage while also appealing to a younger clientele. In their efforts, the designers utilized authentic materials such as root wood, core leather, and bronze to achieve a timeless aesthetic. The restaurant's bar and breakfast buffet were ingeniously combined using an electrically adjustable core leather wall, resulting in a seamless transition between day and night operations.

The renovation project also entailed a complete overhaul of the cooling and ventilation systems. Thöny worked closely with the client to ensure that modern sensibilities were incorporated while maintaining Sonnenhof's historical essence. The end result is a functional restaurant that caters to a diverse clientele.
